I’ve just put up a link to the dramatic two-day discussion of Israel’s Cabint on 19 June 1967, over at the other blog. this is the first online publication of the full transcript of the deliberations. At tehe end of the discussions the government decided to trade land for peace.

It was the stupidest decision ever adopted by a war-time victor. It led to a series of hudnas with various Arab governments but not real peace with Arab countries.
Land for peace was a cruel hoax inflicted upon the Jewish nation. Has any other victor in history ever offered to surrender hard-won land to the enemy? That exactly makes my case. I can’t recall one country, apart from Israel that has done so. Because the results of that evil philosophy have been disastrous for the Jewish State.
